The spatial manipulation device came as a result of the visual outputs of the previous physical construct, the analog light box. These outputs are in the form of raw images, analog and digital manipulations to raw images, and diagrammatic schema of both raw and manipulated images. The device is constructed of acrylic planes whose forms were developed from the light box outputs. Planar combinations, internal/external lighting experimentation, translucency/transparency, and interchangeability serve as the conceptual framework for the device, providing variations in spatial quality and resultant imagery. The video above is a documentation of the device's visual outputs.

This project was a collaborative effort with Nicolas R. Watkins and Christy Purcella under the instruction of Bennett Neiman at the College of Architecture at Texas Tech University.
